John Locke’s athletic accomplishments at Mohawk College were successful and diverse. John’s style of lead by example were evident both in his varsity sport of Curling and in our Mohawk College campus recreation program. A graduate of Business Administration in 1981, John led our Men’s Curling Team into OCAA competition as skip of the rink for three years. John was recognized for his efforts and abilities by being named team MVP on the curling team in all three years. John was also a force and constant participant in our recreation program and was awarded their highest honour, the Joe Marko Merit Award, for his outstanding contribution on and off the playing fields.
