Lisa Amsden dominated women's cross country during her three years as a Mountaineer at Mohawk College. Lisa led the women's cross country team to three OCAA gold medal team finishes as well as winning gold in OCAA individual competition. For her accomplishments, Lisa was awarded the Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year and the cross country team MVP in 1986, 1987 and 1988. Lisa continued her running career after graduation competing at the provincial and national championships.
