Ardo Perri was the top goalkeeper in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association men’s soccer in the 1970-71 and 1971-72 seasons. Perri backstopped the Mountaineers to consecutive OCAA gold Medals. The team went undefeated in his first year. In his second season, Perri lead the league in goals against average. Ardo even saw action as a forward and was the second highest scorer for the Mountaineers. Perri represented Ontario in the Canada Games and went on to play professionally. Ardo joined Rochester in the North American Soccer League in 1975.Ardo played against many international stars such as the legendary Pele. He also was with the Hamilton Steelers in the Canadian Professional Soccer League and played in the Major Indoor Soccer League with both Buffalo and Philadelphia. Perri graduated from the marketing program at Mohawk.
