Brad Paul, one-half of Mohawk's most successful badminton mixed doubles team, captured two OCAA gold medals in 1986 and 1987. With partner Wendy Mabson, they won the CCAA silver medal in 1986 and the CCAA Gold Medal in 1987. Brad was named a coaches award winner alongside teammate Wendy in 1986. Brad was selected as the Mountaineer Male Athlete of the Year in 1987
