The Mohawk Mountaineers cross country team participated in the York Open this past weekend competing against some of Canada's top universities in indoor track events.
Annie Sterenberg posted a 3:30.48 time in the Women's 1,000 metre, placing in 10th place. Niki Ann Brideau and Stefania Salzer also had successful times in the event, both posting a time of 3:42.36.
Ava Snyder took part in the 1,500 metre race, placing seventh with a 5:17.99 time. Sterenberg also competed in the 1,500 metre race finishing with a time of 5:39.13.
On the men's side, Will Summers and Gordon McGinn raced in the 1,000 metre event, posting 2:48.29 and 2:55.56 respectively.
Summers and McGinn also took part in the 1,500 metre race, finishing with times of 4:39.41 and 4:52.54.
