The excitement was palpable the morning of day three in Calgary as the Mountaineers prepared to race. Cool and windy, the course would make the Mountaineers fight for their times. With support staggered around the 2km loop, runners were met with cheers of encouragement every 200 metres. The race saw a tumble from Stefania Salzer which wouldn't slow her down, an impressively bloody nose from Matias Tessel, and season personal bests for every Mohawk runner. With Nationals experience under their spikes, the team is looking forward to next year, where they hope to see their training bring some medals home to Mohawk.
