Mohawk Mountaineers women's volleyball ended the first half of the 2022-23 season with a 3-1 (23-25, 17-25, 25-22, 10-25) loss to the Fanshawe Falcons.

It was the Mountaineers fourth consecutive loss as they head into the holiday break with a 5-4 record.

Lexie Zicari (Burlington, ON) led Mohawk with 13 kills and Irene Jaramillo (Manizales, CO) was impressive from the service line with six aces.

The Mountaineers will return to action on Jan. 12 when they play cross-city rivals Redeemer Royals at 6 p.m.
