Mountaineers women's volleyball picked up another three set victory (25-16, 25-18, 25-19), this time against the Fanshawe Falcons.

The Mountaineers are on a three game winning streak after also defeating the Humber Hawks and Sheridan Bruins last week.

"We played well," head coach Matt Schnarr said. "We had a bit of a slow start, but once we settled down we did a great job executing in serve and pass. We were a bit tired but found ways to execute."

Julia Watson led the way for Mohawk with 12 kills and an ace.

Anika Gatto and Rachel Vanderwal also had strong defensive performances which helped the Mountaineers to victory.

The Mountaineers have continuously focused on playing as a team throughout exhibition and this winning streak has proved that they can do just that.

"We have a good idea who we are now; just need to tidy up certain skills and areas of our system," Schnarr said.

"I think we have had a good run in exhibition play so far," added Schnarr. "We just need to continue to get better and go from there."

Mohawk women's volleyball play their final road exhibition match on Nov. 27 when they face the Humber Hawks at 2 p.m.
