Mountaineers women's volleyball added another win to their record after a three set victory (25-12, 25-6, 25-15) versus the Sheridan Bruins.

"Our performance today was clinical," said head coach Matthew Schnarr. "We went in with a plan, executed and made some great adjustments on the fly which allowed us to take advantage of many situations."

The focus throughout preseason for the Mountaineers has been to play as a team. They accomplished that this week with exhibition wins over Humber and Sheridan and a scrimmage victory versus Redeemer.

"We need to keep working on our game to continue to progress and be ready for the second half when league play begins," Schnarr said.

Kaelyn Emslie, Emily MacEachern and Sofia Spoljar had strong receiving performances which helped the Mountaineers offense find its rhythm.

Katie Kalbfleisch led the way offensively with seven kills, four aces and seven digs. First-year middle Ashley Gibbons came off the bench for four kills and four blocks.

The Mountaineers continue exhibition play on Nov. 24 when they face the Fanshawe Falcons at in London at 6 p.m.
