2019-2020 in Review: Women's Volleyball

The women's volleyball team tore through the OCAA to begin the 2019-2020 season, ripping off six straight wins to begin the campaign. It was a hot start to the season that propelled the team into the postseason with an 11-7 record alongside their ability to hold it down on the home court with a record of 5-2 in the David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre. As the 5th seed out of the West, the Mountaineers swept George Brown in the first round game but were ultimately eliminated in the first game of the OCAA Championships in a tight contest against Fanshawe. The team worked hard on the court throughout the year but their work in the community and the classroom were equally as important as several players received honours for their contributions to the college over the years.
