Brad McClure enters his second season at the helm of the Mountaineers men's volleyball program. He previously worked as the assistant coach for Western University's women's team and Fanshawe College's men's team where he won two OCAA bronze medals. Most recently, he spent the 2016-2017 season with Conestoga College as the women's head coach.
Early in his coaching career McClure trained almost exclusively on the women's side but after claiming a silver medal with Team Ontario at the 2017 Canada Games, he ventured into the men's side. The Hamilton native has played a pivotal role on the beach side with the Ontario Volleyball Association over the past six years where he's held several different coaching duties from the U16 level all the way up to U22.
His role within Mohawk's volleyball program isn't his first taste of the volleyball in the Hamilton community either, as he currently serves as the 18U head coach for Hamilton's MAC Volleyball Club, a position he's held for the past two years.
