Mountaineers men's volleyball ended its four game losing streak with a 3-1 (25-21. 23-25, 25-22, 25-21) win over the Fanshawe Falcons.

"I thought that was one of our more medium performances," said head coach Brad McClure said. "I thought we put a lot of pressure on them from the service line and that we were a lot better defensively."

Nathan Snippe led the Mountaineers against the Falcons, receiving high praise for his performance.

"He was a force at the net, both offensively and defensively," McClure said.

Snippe finished the match with 18 kills on 20 attempts. The fifth-year also had one ace, two blocks and four digs.

Brayden Griffith also had a strong performance with 11 kills and six digs. Joel Sloots was impressive at the net with five blocks to go with six kills.

With only one game left in the exhibition season, the Mountaineers look to use the win as fuel to perform better.

"Our main focus is just to clean up our game a little bit," McClure said.  "We just need to see what we're working with. We want to start clearing more guys off the bench and just be the best team we can be."

Mohawk men's volleyball is back in the DBARC on Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. versus the Sheridan Bruins.
