Mohawk Mountaineers men's volleyball and the Humber Hawks went five sets (19-25, 25-17, 19-25, 25-21, 12-15) in exhibition play. Humber would hold on in the fifth set to defeat Mohawk.
Despite the loss, head coach Brad McClure was happy with how his team came out to play.
"I thought we played more together today than over the previous week," McClure said. "Lots of good stuff to take from the match."
McClure added that the Mountaineers look to continue cleaning up their defensive systems as they move through these last few weeks of the semester.
Setter Luke Sigurdson had a standout performance for the Mountaineers.
"I thought he ran an effective offence and put our hitters in good spots all night," McClure said.
The Mountaineers return to the DBARC on Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. as they host the Fanshawe Falcons.
