Mountaineers men's volleyball continued their perfect preseason following a 3-1 match victory over the St. Clair Saints.

Mohawk won the first three sets 25-16, 25-18 and 25-13 before dropping a fourth set 25-16.

"I think this was one of our more complete performances," said head coach Brad McClure. "There's definitely more positive than negative, it was overall a complete performance for us."

McClure highlighted outside hitter Brayden Griffith for his performance against the Saints.

"Brayden had an unreal game," McClure said. "He was on top from the very first point in the first set and continued to be on top for the rest of the match."

McClure adds that the team is going to continue battling in each game they play.

"It's always a battle in serving each pass," McClure said.  "I think if we can solidify that we'll be in more games than not. That will be a continued focus moving forward."

The Mountaineers men's volleyball team looks to continue their undefeated streak when they host the Humber Hawks on Nov. 17 at 8 p.m.
