It was almost a tale of two seasons for the Mountaineers men's volleyball team in 2019-2020 as a slow start and slow finish to the season undermined the incredible run they went on during the middle of the campaign. After a 1-4 start, the Mountaineers rang off six straight victories with just one of them going all the way to a fina fifth set. A record of 8-10 secured the team a 7th place finish in the West Division which was good enough to send them to the playoffs but their season ultimately ended at the hands of the Durham Lords, the first seed from the East Division and OCAA silver medalists.
