Mountaineers announce 2020-2021 All-Academic athletes
May 13, 2021The Mountaineers have announced the 2020-2021 All-Academic athletes which is highlighted by 35 student-athletes. With no competition over the past year, there has been extra emphasis on academic excellence and the Mountaineers were up for the challenge with over 50 per cent of this year’s athletes receiving All-Academic honours.

Student Athlete Leadership Program was key for the Mountaineers in 2020-2021
April 29, 2021With the 2020-2021 OCAA season at a standstill, the Mountaineers had to get creative to keep athletes engaged during the school year while continuing to help them grow as athletes, student leaders and human beings. One of the solutions came in the form of the Mountaineers Student Athlete Leadership Program (MSALP). This program gives student-athletes the ability to interact with leaders in the community and sports world. The MSALP consisted of two components: a Speaker Series and an Education Series.
