2019-2020 in Review: Curling

The men's curling program enjoyed one of their finest seasons in recent memory as they had their best OCAA finish since 2006-2007, securing a silver medal at the 2020 OCAA Championships. Not only did the men find team success but the curling program as a whole with two players receiving OCAA individual honours, the most individual awards since 2014-2015 when they had five. Nicole Hillman was named an OCAA First-Team All-Star while Jarrett Matthews was named an OCAA Second-Team All-Star for the men. The success of the program shone bright at the Mountaineers Athletics Banquet as three players took home major awards, including Male Athlete of the Year and Female Freshman of the Year.
