HAMILTON, ON – For the second year in a row the Mohawk Mountaineers placed second in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association for number of Academic All-Canadians. The 14 Mountaineer student-athletes receiving the honour for the 2022-23 academic year is also the highest in Mohawk Athletics history.
The CCAA released its list of 246 Academic All-Canadians from across Canada on Wednesday afternoon, presented by Brandnew Athlete. The CCAA Academic All-Canadian is the organizations most prestigious student-athlete honour, epitomizing a commitment to academic success and athletic achievement.
Mohawk once again only ranked behind Humber College, an athletic department with a larger roster of varsity sports.
As part of the partnership, CCAA Academic All-Canadians receive complimentary access to the Brandnew Elite Athlete Transformation Program.
