The Mountaineers Podcast: International Women's Day

The second edition of the Mountaineers podcast includes current Mountaineers coaches, Hali Burns of the women's basketball team and Taylor Brisebois of the women's volleyball team, as well as student-athlete Amanda Kuiper of the women's volleyball team.

Burns was a two-time CCAA All-Canadian and CCAA silver medalist during her time as a Sheridan Bruin, while dominating the OCAA as a three-time First Team All-Star.

Brisebois won an OUA Championship with McMaster in 2013-2014 and enters her first season on the women's volleyball staff.

Kuiper is a fifth-year student-athlete and has earned OCAA All-Star honours during her time at Mohawk, as well as receiving the Dr. Sam Mitminger Award in 2020, one of the college's highest honours. Kuiper was also the recipient of the Ray Lewis Community Service Award by SportHamilton this past December.

The three women engage in celebrating women in sports, as well as discussing hardships and stigmas that still exist for women in sports and women in the world.

The podcast can be found on Spotify and SoundCloud.
