A weekend filled with volleyball action at Mohawk begins Friday night, which includes Mountaineers men's volleyball hosting the Boreal Vipères at 8 p.m.
The match will be available through OCAA Live.
Admission to the games is free for everyone as well.
The Matchup:
The Mountaineers currently have a 6-5 record after winning their last match this past weekend, while the Vipères have gone winless through 11 contests and have yet to win a set.
What Happened Last Time:
Back in November these two teams played their second match of the season, with Mohawk coming out on top 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-14).
Peter Pilling (St. Catharines, ON) led the Mountaineers with seven kills and seven aces in only two sets.
Who to Watch For:
Andrew Hutchins (Courtice, ON) has seen increased playing time in his second season at Mohawk. In his last match against the Saints, Hutchins had his best game yet with a career-high 11 kills. His play improving as the season progresses will be important for the Mountaineers success going forward.
