Claudio Perri joined both the women's and men's soccer coaching staffs at Mohawk College in the 2023 season in the role of Goalkeeper Coach. Perri has numerous years as a goalkepper, playing in the NAIA and then stepped into the coaching world for more than a decade.
Playing Experience:
- 1995-97: Member of the Ontario provincial program with Gord Miller and the Canadian Olympic Development Team
- 1997-2001: Starting goalkeeper for Life University in the NAIA Division 1 on a full scholarship
- 1998: Named NAIA Southeast Goalkeeper of the Year and was an NAIA Division 1 All-American
- 1998: Set the Life University record for single-season shutouts
- Appeared in three NAIA National Championships Tournaments with Life University
- 2001: Graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management
- 2002-2011: Was the starting goalkeeper and captain of the St. Catharines Roma in the Canadian Professional League
- 2007: Canadian Soccer League Goalkeeper of the Year
