Mohawk Mountaineers are proud to announce Janelle Lammers and Ian Kere as the Athletes of the Week, in partnership with Mohawk Students' Association, for the week of Sept. 5-11.
Lammers (Frankford, ON) helped lead women's soccer to a victory and a draw through the first two games of the season this past week. The second-year midfielder found the back of the net eight minutes into the Mountaineers season, showing off her strength and footwork.
Kere (Hamilton, ON) scored a goal in the Mountaineers match versus the Lambton Lions. The third-year midfielder will be a key veteran leader for Mohawk during the 2022 season.
