On Thursday afternoon the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) announced the 2023-24 women's and men's volleyball schedules, which will feature both Mohawk Mountaineer teams competing in 18 regular season matches.
Coming off consecutive seasons with OCAA medals, the Mohawk Mountaineers women’s volleyball program is excited to announce its newest recruiting class for the 2023-24 season. The Mountaineers earned a bronze medal this past season under first-year head coach Kelsey Kovar, who explained that it was important to bring in a significant group of new student-athletes.
For the second straight season the Mohawk Mountaineers women’s volleyball program has won a medal at the OCAA Championship. The Mountaineers defeated the Seneca Sting 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-23) to earn the 2022-23 bronze medal.
