Mohawk Mountaineers women's volleyball could not get back in the win column following a 3-0 (20-25, 13-25, 25-18, 16-25) loss to the Conestoga Condors.

After starting the season 5-0, Mohawk has now dropped two consecutive matches.

Mohawk was able to show some success, winning the third set, and head coach Kelsey Kovar explained what went well to win that set.

"Even though today was not the result we hoped for, we were able to utilize more of the team in today's match," Kovar said. "The players who went into the third set did their jobs well and kept us in that match, so that is always a positive to see a full team effort."

Irene Jaramillo (Manizales, CO) and Rachel Vanderwal (Hamilton, ON) led the Mountaineers with seven kills each.

The Mountaineers will play their final home game of 2022 on Nov. 26 when they host the Humber Hawks at 1 p.m.
