Mohawk Mountaineers men's volleyball had their first action at home in 2023 and did not disappoint, defeating the Borèal Vipères 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-15).
The win moves the Mountaineers to a 7-5 record and in a three-way tie for the fourth seed in the OCAA West division.
Head coach Brad McClure explained the success for his team following the front-end of a back-to-back.
"I think we passed well and we served well," McClure said. "I think the guys got into the match and knew how to resolve in the best way."
The season continues for the Mountaineers on Jan. 21 when they host the Cambrian Golden Shield at 3 p.m.
