Mohawk Mountaineers men's soccer were unable to bounce back after allowing a goal in the second minute, losing 3-0 to the Conestoga Condors.

"I think the goal was so early that it didn't impact," said head coach Jordan Brown. "I think that we played really well after that by moving the ball and defending pretty well."

The Mountaineers kept the game within one goal for a majority of the game, but the Condors would add two more in the second half.

"We've got solid performances at the back and we're defending very well," Brown said. "All the guys worked really hard, and we need to keep going on."

Mohawk will next host the Fanshawe Falcons on Oct.4, at Tim Hortons Field for an 8 p.m. start.
