The Mohawk Mountaineers basketball teams will start their 2022-23 campaign at home inside the David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre.
On Thursday, the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) released the regular season schedule that will see the Mountaineers men's team play 18 games and the women's team play 16 contests.
The men will start their season at home versus the Canadore Panthers on Oct. 22 with an 8 p.m. tip-off.
Mohawk's women's team will host their season opener on Oct. 29 when the Fanshawe Falcons come to town. Tip-off will be at 1 p.m., with the men's game following at 3 p.m.
Both Mountaineer basketball teams will compete in the OCAA West Division, playing each divisional opponent twice in a home-away split.
Additional home games for Mohawk include Redeemer (Nov. 5), Conestoga (Nov. 19), Sheridan (Dec. 1), Niagara (Jan. 14), Humber (Jan. 18), Lambton (Feb. 4) and St. Clair (Feb. 18).
The Mountaineers will finish the season with four of their final six games on the road.
